PROGRAM

Program Structure

Globally, coral reefs continue to face unprecedented threats, and restoration programs must adapt to a new reality. Different regions, reefs, and communities have unique needs and challenges. Reef Futures invites proposals for oral presentations, posters, workshops, videos, and solution stations that are broadly related to the field of coral reef restoration and conservation.

The symposium's program committee will curate a diverse set of plenary, concurrent session, display, and workshop content to address the needs of all organizations.

The program for Reef Futures 2026 will run from Sunday, December 6 through Friday, December 11.

*The Overview Schedule shown is subject to change pending content submissions.

Program Content
Taking a fresh approach to the typical scientific conference, our goal is to develop new ideas by facilitating diverse international participation from multi-disciplinary perspectives; as such, the stage will be shared with all. If you have groundbreaking research, this is the place for it; if you have a story of success (or failure), we want to hear it!  We encourage content submissions from a variety of backgrounds and geographies inside and outside of traditional coral reef science (e.g. engineering, robotics, communications, community engagement, etc.).
