REEF FUTURES HOTEL RATES
Book your room by October 7! Two primary hotels within the Iberostar Paraiso complex will be available at discounted rates for Reef Futures participants - the Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach and Iberostar Waves Paraiso del Mar (do NOT use these links to book - use the "Book Your Room" button above). These hotels are all-inclusive properties meaning that ALL food and beverage expenses are included in the room rate.

Local Attendees - Property Day Pass for Iberostar Paraiso Complex
Attendees local to Tulum, Playa del Carmen, Puerto Morales, and Cancún that will be traveling daily from their homes to/from the conference will be issued property day passes at no cost. You will be required to show your local I.D. each day when you check-in for your pass.
Attendees who are not staying onsite at one of the Iberostar Paraiso hotels, and are not local to the area, are required to purchase a property pass at a discounted rate of $69 USD per attendee / per day.
Why do I need a property pass?
The pass provides the attendee with full property access, and access to the same food & beverage amenities available to attendees staying on the property (breakfast, lunch, dinner, beverages, etc.). Please note that the rate is available to registered Reef Futures attendees only, all others must pay the regular daily pass rate of the property.

Travel to Iberostar Paraiso
The closest major airport to the meeting venue is Cancun International Airport (CUN). Reef Futures will be working with a shuttle service for attendees to book their own shuttle from/to Cancun International Airport to the Iberostar Paraiso complex, about a 45 minute drive. A link to book your own shuttle will be available soon. One way rates will be USD $40 and round-trip rates will be USD $75.
The Tulum International Airport (TQO), also known as the Felipe Carrillo Puerto International Airport (TQO), is another option for air travel, about a 2 hour drive. Please note that the airport is relatively new and the infrastructure between Tulum and Playa Paraiso is less developed. Reef Futures shuttles will NOT service the Tulum airport.

Family Friendly at the Iberostar Paraiso Complex
With the exception of the Iberostar Grand Paraiso hotel (adults-only), the other four hotels in the complex are family-friendly and welcome children of all ages.
Activities for Children Staying at the Iberostar Paraiso Complex
Children aged 4 to 17 are eligible for one of the three Iberostar Star Camps. The groups are arranged depending on the age of the child.
Evening childcare can be arranged with the concierge of your hotel for a fee.
Family Members and Guests are not eligible to attend Reef Futures 2024 events unless they are registered attendee of the symposium, or have purchased an evening event guest pass.
